Paul, I knew you for but a moment, we shared many a quiet beer while you cursed at your computer. My greatest sadness was that you fell off the radar and we lost touch.
Till Valhalla my friend, may your fags be endless and your beer always cold, your brews piping hot. Keep McTavish company until we all meet again. Raise a toast to those brave legionnaires.
bye da fy hen ffrind

I remember Paul with fondness, we did drama together. Had a fabulous week on a residential course with him. We played together as children, he lived down the road.
Condolences to his family. RIP

So sorry that Stewy has passed away. We were friends from the age of 5 at St. Joseph’s Cathedral School in Swansea, progressing on to Bishop Vaughan School, where we remained friends for life. I will always remember Stew, as a very intelligent man with a great sense of humour, who was just “one of the boys”. So many great times, both at school and far too many nights out and concerts that we all attended. I’m so pleased to have been close to Stew in his final few weeks and feel blessed that he was part of my life for so long. A great mate. God bless Stew x

Paul was a great mate and best man at my wedding. We shared many a good night and the man had no bad in him whatsoever. Sad how you seemed to fall off the radar my friend, one hopes we can share a beer again in the big bar upstairs when I am called. God speed my old friend, job done.

Paul (Taff) Steward, you will be sadly missed by your family and friends. A true 26 Regiment legend, a gentleman and friend to so many. I will never forget our time spent in the back of the FV432, where you were either trying to burn it down (accidentally) or trying to save it from being blown away. Rest in Peace my friend. See you in the Battery bar upstairs.
