Diane Patricia Margaret Atkinson (26 Nov 1937 - 26 Sep 2021)

"Diane Atkinson passed away peacefully on Sunday 26th September 2021 with her family by her side.

Diane was a loving, caring and supportive wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to looking after her family she helped run children's and young people's groups. She was kind and compassionate and took great joy in seeing youngsters thrive, putting many smiles on many faces over the years. Unfortunately a great number of children in the UK aren't blessed with a 'Diane like' figure in their lives. As a legacy of a life well lived we would like to ensure Diane's caring spirit lives on through the work of Barnardo's, an organisation she supported and admired for years."
