We John's family are overwhelmed with the generosity of all of you .... we never imagined that we could raise so much for Hayward House the most amazing hospice ... and the amount continues to grow ...

Just so you are all aware the money donated will go towards the upkeep of the gardens at Hayward House. John in his last few weeks had an amazing view of the gardens, as you all know John was besotted with gardens and the outside space ... plants, trees, flowers, bees, butterflies, birds, the night sky ....... the list goes on and on ....

Currently the gardens at Hayward House are tended by the Arnold and Mapperley Rotary Club so any donations will be given to them specifically. The team do an amazing job and it was lovely to be able to sit outside with John and enjoy the wildlife that came through. We even saw a green woodpecker which is wonderful on a couple of occasions and he insisted I put bird food out even though it was against the rules .. that was most certainly John the man I love ..

All we can say is thank you ........

Love and hugs to you allxxxxxxx

Thank you to all our wonderful friends and family that supported myself, mum and Elliott for dads funeral last Sunday. It was exactly what dad wanted a celebration with tears shed but even more memories made I am sorry I didn’t get chance to speak to everyone that attended we were quite staggered by how many people that were there but just shows how many peoples life’s by dad touched. As I said I am an incredibly proud daughter of John and will endeavor to lead my life with the same up beat enthusiasm and zest for life just like my amazing dad thank you all so much lots of love Helen xx
