Hi Sue, I remember when we first met in Birmingham Dave was so proud to introduce you to me. Just to remind you Dave and I worked together at Railhead Services and Tracto (Canpac CPSHIPS) and later spent most of our time in the Orwell Moat house Hotel Felixstowe, entertaining (LOL). Dave was the best manager I ever knew or worked with, he had the best sense of humour which I will never forget. I remember his Son Ben as a young boy (very handsome) I also remember you so well Sue, so kind, gracious and beautiful. Yes I'm sad very sad that Dave has gone I was hoping to find contact details to hopefully meet up again and let him know how well I had done under his guidance. I have always missed him, he had such an impact on my life and I'm sure many others too. I hope that you have support around you, I'm sure you do. I'm sorry I missed his funeral. Bless you Sue and Family.

  • My name is Ralph Perch and I think at the time I met Dave I was Sales Director of Railhead Services and I first met Dave when I appointed him as Manager of our Birm depot. He was a good lad who ran an efficient operation and he had a great sense of humour. The company got rid of me because I was opposed to them buying one of our competitors. I was proved right in the end and the business was shut down so we 18 months later, at which time I lost contact with Dave. Nice guy.
