Remembering Ray Latty - a very kindly gentleman, always with a smile. Very much a family man who was a rail enthusiast all his life and worked so hard to entertain others within the Shropshire Railway Society as its Events Secretary, organising speakers for our Friday night meetings and also organising visits to various railway sites and events. Rest in Peace Ray.

There is no night without a dawning
No winter without a spring
And beyond the dark horizon
Our hearts will once more sing…
For those who leave us for a while
Have only gone away
Out of a restless, care worn world
Into a brighter day.

I first met Ray almost 20yrs ago, we had such a laugh about life & that was the way it always was. Sometimes many many months between meetings but his infectious smile & laugh & always made me feel welcome. I will miss our chats about London & life. Rest easy ❤️ Sue
