In loving memory of Stanley Deakin 'Stan' who sadly passed away on 14th August 2021.
Born on 22 June 1929, to Benjamin and Lily Deakin, in Sparkbrook Birmingham South. Stan married Irene Blewitt of 19 November 1949 at the age of 20. They were still happily married on his death, having spent nearly 72 years together. They had three children, Graham, who would have been 68, but he sadly died 5 years ago with Cancer, Lyn (56) and Elaine (53).
Graham was married to Elaine, nee Griffiths and had one son James, who also has a daughter, Imogen - Stan's first Grandchild and Great grandchild.
Lyn is married to Darren and they have a son named Ashley. Ashley got married to Leandra in 2019 and recently gave Lyn and Darren their first grandchild, Amelia. Stan's great grandchild, who he got to meet before he died.
Elaine is married to Ade and they have a daughter, Jess, and a son, Ben, both of whom have recently finished their study years and are embarking on their working lives.
Stan leaves behind a surviving sister, Betty.
Stan will be sadly missed by all the family.
