Funeral Director
In loving memory of Nigel Stuart Ryan who sadly passed away peacefully on 1st August 2021 in St. Thomas' Hospital, Westminster, aged 51. He is survived by his wife Sharon and sister Tina. Nigel was much loved by his extended family, friends and colleagues and will be missed greatly by all.
The family would like to thank all nurses and doctors at Darent Valley and St Thomas' Hospital for the professional care they provided Nigel during the last weeks of his special life. Nigel had a special affinity with NHS workers following a long and successfully fought battle with cancer as a child at Barts Hospital. Nigel had a full and happy life and made many friends during his relatively short life. Some pictures of Nigel and his family can be viewed by clicking on the header above. Feel free to add your own personal story or pictures of Nigel.
A funeral is scheduled for 11am 2nd September 2021 at The North Chapel, Eltham Crematorium. Reverend Fr. Neil Nicholls will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Nigel's life - this is a celebration so do not feel obliged to wear mourning attire. If you are unable to attend, the ceremony can be viewed on a live webcast and login details are as follows:

You are warmly invited to join the family afterwards for lunch at Bexleyheath Golf Club from 12pm.
There were a few charitable organisations that had a very special meaning to Nigel and therefore a donation to Barts Charity, Diabetes UK or The British Heart Foundation (links above) will be very much appreciated. Alternatively we realise that some friends and family will wish to send flowers, this will be equally appreciated.
