I worked with and for Philip for many years.
Put simply he was a lovely man and a considerate boss.
He even bought from us our Mini Clubman Estate for his second car and didn't complain when it proved less than reliable!
He will be missed by so many.

Fondest memories of Philip, a really good and kind person, who served Suffolk very well and helped me and others to develop our careers at the County Council.

  • Will always be grateful to Philip who appointed me as Secretary/PA to the County Treasurer of SCC. I worked alongside Philip for all of his 15 years as County Treasurer. We kept in touch all through retirement especially with family Christmas letters. So saddened to hear of his passing but will always remember him with respect, affection and our shared Christian values. To Bette and all the family I send my deepest sympathy and love at the loss of Philip but it's 'till you meet again'. Pat Pryke.
