Peacefully in hospital on August 3rd aged 83 years, Edward (Ed). The dearly loved husband of Lorraine. A much loved dad, grandad, brother, father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle and friend to many. Friends please meet on Wednesday August 18th for service in St Andrew’s Parish Church, Chilton Moor at 12 noon. Family committal to follow in Durham Crematorium. All are welcome afterwards to the Mill Inn for refreshments. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers if so desired will be kindly accepted for the work of Help for Heroes.
