In loving memory of John Alan Carter who sadly passed away on 21st July 2021

John will be greatly missed by many. He always had a smile on his face. He was so creative & influential in our lives and always had a positive manner, full of fun, jokes and laughter.

A service will be held at Wessex Vale Crematorium where we request the dresscode to be bright and colourful.

All are welcome to raise a glass to celebrate our Dad's life at The Victoria Pub, Victoria Road, Woolston, Southampton SO19 9DY 11am

John what a wonderful joy it was to get to know you, spending time hearing your stories of growing up in a big family....your jokes...most of them good and a few bad ones....there is never the right time to say goodbye so I won't but will keep you in my memories forever....
Much love to your wonderful family Dilly X

My Dad was my hero. He taught me so much about life. He influenced me in so many ways.
He taught me how to tie my shoelaces, the names of trees & birds, how to play chess & guitar. To respect nature, love music & the arts. He was so positive, talented & creative.
I'm going to miss you so much Dad.
Your smile, your laugh and repeating old jokes.
I wish I could of had more time with you but alas that can never be.
I will find strength in the many wonderful happy memories i have, which I shall cherish forever.
All my love Leanne xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Our sincere condolences to Julie and all of Johns family.

It was a pleasure to have known and worked with John he truly was a warm, caring, funny, and very talented person.

His many talents showed in his working life some of that I shared working along side him in Fawley refinery, his painting hobby and his renovation with Julie in their beautiful home in Brittany in which we had the pleasure of seeing and staying when Julie celebrated a milestone birthday.

We know that his memory will certainly live on with all the people that have known him, as they will with with us.
