Passed away peacefully on Monday 26th July 2021 at home in his sleep with his family around him aged 72.
A loving Husband, Dad, Grandad and Brother. Funeral service will be held at the North Devon Crematorium on Friday 13th August at 1.40pm. Family flowers only. If you can, a donation would be lovely to our chosen charity's.
Dave/dad wished for people not to wear all black. Maybe a flat cap or a trilby! We all know he liked a hat.
We would like to invite you to celebrate and remember Dave with us at Bideford Blues JFC, Sandymere EX39 1XX from 3.00pm. A pop up bar will be available to purchase a bevy or two! We will provide some food.
We would like to create a memory box. We will be providing pens and paper for you to use for your memory, or if you prefer to write it before hand you can just pop it in the box provided. We would love for you to share your memory/comment. And photos also would be lovely.

I always looked forward to your cuddles when I was at Sandymere , you were a true gentleman and I thought the world of you .

I will alway remember Dave for all the years we had with the boys down Sandymere.
Always there rain or shine to give his time so our boys got a game.
His commitment to the club and boys must never be forgotten.
As you see him sat on the rhino with the horn on 😂 that sums him up! Full of fun and mischief.
Good family man and friend to many.
He will be sadly missed, but I’m sure he will pop into our thoughts and make us giggle from time to time.

Dave you were truly a lovely man, who was always so supportive and gave up so much time to the local football community. I will never forget our big breakfast after mine and Ames’s 20 mile training run leading up to the marathon! You were always so supportive of our crazy running!!
