It is with great regret to hear of the passing of my dear friend Ron. I have known him for over 70 years, played in the same school football team, the youth league for Southchurch Rovers,and later the Borough Combination, he was a very good goalkeeper as many will remember.
We had holidays together with other lads in the football team, when we got married and had children we again had some happy times together with our families.
In later life he became an avid gardener and could be proud of his all round knowledge and displays.
We shall miss you, our condolences go out to the family and friend who had the good fortune to know him, rest in peace Ron.
