I'm speaking for all of the hilton/cochrane clan,we grew up next to to Steve,Cath and their kids we have fond memories of Steve,big hugs from us all x

My thoughts are with all the family at this sad time, Steve was a good bloke with a big heart, Steve could always make anyone laugh with his jokes. I will always remember him making his sloe gin for Christmas and me and Shelly drinking it on the quiet. RIP Steve xx

I met Steve through his two beautiful granddaughters Jodie and Chloe, His sarcasm and charisma could light up the darkest room… Steve had helped me and the girls so much when we needed him, When me and Chloe got stranded in my Gym car park when her car broke down, Grandad to the rescue! When me and Jodie had to go over to help him with his phone as he’d deleted all his WhatsApp contacts and messages, I’ve had nothing but laughs with him and shared some of the family’s greatest moments from the sideline, my fondest memory will be when I went round in the summer on many occasions and always wanted to send me home with punnets and bowls full of all sized Tomatoes, He will always be like a Grandad to me, and the girls knew that, Rest Easy Steve, I’ll look after the girls, I make that promise to you. All my love x
