In loving memory of Edna Margaret Sturgess who sadly passed away on 26th May 2021
Our lovely mum lived her life very independently. Unfortunately her body began to fail her late December 2020. The medical professionals predicted mum being an undiagnosed cancer suffer . Mum was to frail to complete tests and scans.
The loss of her second daughter in 2014 with cancer , also one of her brothers , both being in the hospice together . Showed mum and her family the amazing work carried out buy Macmillan.
Mum being mum planned her funeral in 2017 , choosing the funeral directors , music , coffin ,even down to her flower choice . It was at this time mum decided to have only family flowers and donations to Macmillan , in her own words an amazing charity .
