In loving memory of my brave and courageous wife, Elspeth Jean Seeley, who passed away on Thursday 22 April 2021.

Elspeth was a very loving and caring wife and a person who always looked after the interests of others before those of herself. She was extremely kind and considerate. She spent many years helping and financially supporting families in Gambia and also spent 25 years working for the charity Age Concern England as their Communications Officer before taking redundancy when Age Concern merged with Help the Aged to form Age UK.

We have had exactly 25 wonderful years together, during which time we have worked together, travelled the World together and enjoyed life together.

We always worked as a team, not only as the Communications Team at Age Concern England but also in our private lives in everything we did from cooking, to playing music together, to organising social events - we complemented each other by bringing together our different skills.

SHE was a very special person who I will miss very, very, very much.

We met and embraced Elspeth in Martirano and I know she will be sadly missed by the villagers too. Somehow going down the Porticella street will never be the same without expecting to see her sunny face coming to meet us. She will always be with us.. . Love susan and Pino

So sorry to hear of Elspeth’s passing. She and Roger were so welcoming and supportive when I started at Age Concern England, and for many years after. And she played a big role in making the Age Concern federation work effectively for older people. She will be much missed.
