To a wonderful Great Uncle Derek, forever the “phantom ice cream seller”. So much love and fond wishes for the jokes told,
tricks played and memories of you. Now forever with your love, Aunty Pat.

GONE, BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

Don’t think of him as gone away
His journey’s just begun,
Life holds so many facets
This earth is only one.

Just think of him as resting
From the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days and years.

Think how he must be wishing
That we could know today
How nothing but our sadness
Can really pass away.

And think of him as living
In the hearts of those he touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
And he was loved so much.

We will miss chatting in the garden so much. However you are now with the love of your life Pat. Rest in Peace Derek. Go with God

Hi Pop-pops,
Just wanted to come and say thank you for being such a great grandad to us. You really are one of a kind, and so lucky we got to have you.
We are going to miss you so much, but will make sure we tell Amelia and Baby peanut all about you.
Say hi to Nan for me and give her a big cuddle.

Love you more than you will ever know.
