I was so very saddened when I heard of your passing John. Such a shock. I miss you greatly at my crossword sessions on a Friday, as do we all, and I keep wanting to come across to your room to see if you’re coming. We had a lot of laughs! Such a gentleman who touched all our lives. RIP John .

Surprisingly our lunches haven't changed since we missed you, still tasty and filling as always, but sadly there is now a gap at our table. We miss you John.

I will miss you my friend. I enjoyed our reflexology sessions and how we both enjoyed the chant music together. I still walk past your room and think I will come and say hello to you before remembering. God bless.

Dearly missing John. Like many I have truly felt his loss as he made such a huge impression on me as someone we should all aspire to be like. Faultlessly kind, funny and a true gentleman.

I only knew John for a couple of months, as a lunch companion. But in that short time he made a great impression on me. His kindness and concern for my well-being was comforting and I shall not forget him.

  • To a most loving, caring & totally devoted Dad who always cared about others before himself. Life seems unimaginable without you but am glad you didn’t suffer for long in your final days. You will live in my heart and be in my prayers every single day. Rest in Peace Dad, love you so much xxx
