Sweet baby James. My baby cousin I cradled in my arms, babysat in those young years, mum and dad ( your favourite auntie and uncle) took you under their wing, you spent many a happy hour making things in the garage with dad.
We haven’t seen you for a very long time but those memories have stayed with all of us.
May God bless you and keep you safe and well up there in heaven with my dad making things in the big garage in the sky.

You were my friend when growing up, we always had a lot of good times and laughs together. I always envied your creative and artistic skill, your wit, ability to tell hilarious anecdotes, you were smart, very likeable and possessed so much potential. I'm sad life led you on this path James and I'm sad I'll never see you again, I really hoped you could've turned things round earlier in life. Farewell mate you'll never be forgotten.

  • A misunderstood gentleman. He had so much to give but was given up on. He fought so hard for himself - he was broken at a young age. He never lost his kindness and cheekiness. A loss for us all but hopefully now his spirit is free from the physical addictions. James you’re going to missed immensely mate. X

Twinkly eyes and the cheekiest grin
Always acting the clown
An explosion of energy and fun
Full of life and never down

You’d capture the room with a story
Tales so crazy but true
Through tears of laughter I’d say
“It could only happen to you!”

Then there was your other side
That not everyone got to see
Sensitive, kind and caring
And such a good friend to me

You’d listen without judgement
Offer carefully thought advice
You’d jump to fight my corner
Without ever thinking twice

You’d give me your last of anything
Wrap me up if I was cold
You were a proper diamond geezer
With a massive heart of gold

Your life, it wasn’t easy
But you tried and fought to the end
To finally be able to rest in peace
Is my wish for you, my friend

I haven’t seen you much in the last 20 years but I know I’m going to miss you because of what good friend you were to me and the great memories I have of you. I always looked out for you when I was in town and something tells me I still will. Sleep peacefully mate, no more pain.

So many happy memories of times we shared together. I always look back on these and smile. They were made special because you were there spreading your fun, humour and love in the good times and precious words of wisdom when the chips were down. Even more recently with your own battles going on you always had time for others. I would come say hello in town and we would put the world to rights, If only we could have righted things for you James. Your infectious smile and deep eyes still lit up Southampton. I will miss your kind soul. Love Tiff x
