Andrew Heathcote (5 Feb 1966 - 12 Apr 2021)

Dear Margaret, Karen and Laura. I was very sad to hear of Andrew’s death. Our warmest and heartfelt thoughts go out to you and the rest of Andrew’s family. We have very fond memories of our times together at RAF Henlow and visiting at Beaconsfield. A lovely bloke who will be sorely missed. Lots of love. The Bridgmans xx

Devastated to learn of the passing of Andrew, he was such a kind and lovely man that gave so much to so many. Boys will always remember him teasing Matt at Parkruns. He will be greatly missed. Thinking of Margaret, Karen and Laura. Xx

Though he is no longer with us the memories remain and we can continue to share, and try to spread, the smiles and happiness he brought us.

Andrew was someone who made parkrun special and we’ll fondly remember his cheers of encouragement, humour and broad smile. It has been a privilege to know him, and our thoughts and prayers are with Margaret, Karen and Laura.

Hi Maggie, so sorry to hear what happened to your Andrew, I only met him once or twice, so young, friendly and full of energy. Ha, he told me kids can't cross the road on their own til they're 8, seemed like forever when mine were babes but time flies!! We were so lucky to catch Jo's early, and managed to nurse her back to some normality and I lost Daz my best friend aged 31; so I have an idea what you have been through. Our thoughts are with you my darling and I always owed you for the exam coaching :) but if there is anything I can do for you please shout or if you ever need a chat. Very sad to be saying goodbye to you today Andrew. We met through parkrun and we will always remember your cheeky words of encouragement as a marshal and the big grin that followed them.

So sad that Andy was taken far too soon. We shared so many happy memories together, from our time at RAF Honington over 30 years ago, to meeting from time to time over the years. He was a true friend, who will be sorely missed.
