Sending huge hugs to the Gough brothers (my brothers) and their families X

Josie, you played a huge part in all of Darrens pals growing up and I for one will always be truly grateful. Although between you and my Dad all the lads became addicted to cards and fruit machines!! You kept an eye on us all, without us realising it at the time. Your heart full of love and affection that you shared with all of us, you truly were one of lifes angels and one of the kindest people I have ever known.
Rest in peace Josie, back with your Terry now and thank you for all your kindness and guidance to us all.
Love Always,
Steve x

Auntie Josie was 12 years older than me
Every Thursday from the age of about 3 I used to stay with my grandmother (her mother).
I looked forward to it each week asAJ always Was tuned in to Radio Luxembourg
Just in case Elvis Presley was played she used to “Jive” me around the room telling me he was going to be the next big star
It was very exciting in 1952 when the UK was still coming to terms with the consequences of the war and rationing
She was a bright light for me and was always so for everyone for the rest of her life .
Maureen
