In loving memory of Peter Ralph Granger who sadly passed away on 1st April 2021.

Peter was a hard working yet humble man; with a wonderful but wicked sense of humour. A loyal and loving husband; a supportive and caring father; a doting grandfather and a wonderful friend. At this time of great sorrow; we can seek comfort and joy in the memories that Peter gave us.

If Peter has been a part of your life please do leave a message or share a memory on this page; upload some of your favorite photographs; or light a virtual candle.

Also; in Peters memory we would like to raise some money for the RSPB via the Just Giving Link on this website. Peter loved the wildlife and the countryside; but especially the birds.

Due to the current circumstance numbers are limited for the funeral; but we will be having a celebration of Peters life with a wake when are permitted later in the year.

Many thanks for all your support.

With love,

The Granger family xx

I met Peter sometime back in the late 90’s. I myself was a newly appointed Financial adviser living in Gillingham. I can’t remember how we met or who introduced us but we really clicked. He was really helpful and supportive to me. I would refer difficult mortgage cases to him as he had so much experience. He had so much on the go. He was prolific. He had business flying in from everywhere. Very down to earth and funny. Sometimes his humour was on a different wavelength and I didn’t get it. But I truly liked him. I moved away to Wiltshire and out of the business around 2003. I found him a few years later on LinkedIn. I was pleased to see he was still going strong. So long Peter. It was nice to have known you

I will remember Uncle Pete for so many things, but mostly his huge generosity and desire to help others with his knowledge and skills, along with epic games of football and cricket with us on the beach. He will be so greatly missed. Much love to Aunty Nod, Joe, Sam, Mim and Jake xx

We have fond memories of Peter from our time at Twydall from church and family church outings. His love of family was always evident and we know he will be greatly missed.

Dear Dad, always in my thoughts and practice. You instilled in me good, simple values of honesty, hard work and to try to keep happy, whatever the weather. Loving, encouraging, selfless and just always there. An oracle of knowledge and so often terrible jokes, especially passing on April Fools Day, the last great laugh. Nothing was impossible and you were, and will for ever be an inspiration and source of guidance. Wherever you are now, the tea, sometimes G & T, laughs and jokes will continue fervently I'm sure. Happy days big time!

A person’s life can be measured not just by its length, but by the loss felt by his passing. Peter was a man who put his family first, and my condolences to Noelle and the whole family, who must be missing him greatly. I know that as a friend I will also miss him – our long chats, his jokes, his stories, and his encyclopedic knowledge. Rest in peace, Peter.
