In loving memory of Janine Higgins who sadly passed away on 6th April 2021
As many of you know, Janine passed away on 6th April 2021 after a short. but determined battle with malignant melanoma. She was 51 years old and leaves behind her husband Simon, children Alistair, Maddie, Louisa and her sister Joy.
We all knew Janine as a smiling, loyal, friendly, amazing woman. Although our world is incomplete without her in it, we will hold onto the memories that she left us with. Janine told everyone who came into contact with her over the last few months to give their loved ones an extra hug as nobody knows what is round the corner. Wise words indeed.
I know that many more people will want to pay their respects to Janine than the 30 that are allowed under covid restrictions. Perhaps people would post pictures of themselves raising a glass to Janine and posting them on Facebook. I will print the pictures and put into an album.
If you would like to donate to a charity in Janine's memory, she requested donations be made to Melanoma Research (part of Cancer Research UK), Meningitis Now and The Donkey Sanctuary.
Thank you for caring about Janine. It means a lot to us, her family as we struggle to come to terms with her passing.
