In loving memory of Michael Nissen 'Mick', who died peacefully at Queen's Hospital on 20th March.

Loving Husband of Mary and adored dad of Michelle and Michael. Proud grandad to Charlie, Noah, Esme, Callum, and Nathaniel and cherished father-in-law, brother, and uncle.

Words cannot express the heartache felt at the loss of such a kind, gentle and loving man. Nothing was too much trouble, a friend to all who knew him, with never a bad word to say about anyone.

A private service will be held at St Peter and St Paul's Church, Swadlincote, followed by a cremation at Bretby Crematorium on 21st April.

Such a kind and friendly man who will be truly missed. Always had time to stop and say hello, always replied "ticking over nicely" when asked how he was. Rest in Peace in your final resting place x

Our darling friend Mick, you are in our hearts and prayers forever. The wonderful memories of times spent together will, one day, attempt to fill the massive gap the want of your physical presence has left. We try not to be selfish and wish you back in this world that had become painful and hard to be in, although no one would ever have guessed it from any encounter with you. Our brave, stoical loving friend. We know that you are at peace with Our Lord, your race is run and your ‘exile in this veil of tears’ is now perfect joy in the Kingdom of Heaven. Our Lady of Medjugorje, pray for Mick’s soul and comfort, peace strength for his beloved Mary and family. With love, from Glo & Graham 🙏🏻💐🥰xxx

Some people just can't help making a difference in our lives. By simply being who they are, they make the world a little brighter, a little warmer, a little gentler, and when they're gone we realise how lucky we are to have known them. God bless you Mick. You will always be in our hearts. Maria and Chris Rose.
