In loving memory of Eileen Ulph, mum, nan, great nan and great great nan, who sadly passed away on 18th March 2021.

Eileen was so fondly thought of by so many and was such an inspiration to those around her.

Her strength and determination to live her life to the full even in her final months was an encouragement to us all.

Eileen’s journey has come to an end but she will live on forever in our hearts and memories and will continue to touch people's lives every day as we remember fondly, those good times with her.

We would love you to join us at the celebration of Eileen’s Life and you can find all the Service details right here on this page.

The families wish was to ask for donations to the Heart of Kent Hospice in place of flowers, so if you would like to donate something that would be so gratefully received. The staff and all involved at the Hospice during mums’ final days gave her so much care and compassionate support.

Sadly because of current restrictions we are unable to host a gathering after the funeral service so are planning when restrictions are lifted and at some point in the summer to hold a gathering in celebration of Eileen’s life which you and others who are unable to attend the funeral service will be invited along to celebrate with us.

For those attending the service, there is road side parking in Castle Way and Oxley Shaw Lane just along from the church and then at the Crematorium ample parking spaces.

Robert, Jackie and Family look forward to you being able to celebrate mum’s life either at the services, by the webcast or later in the year at the planned gathering.

Webcast Details to please pass onto those not or unable to attend the Committal:

You can login to our website at any time to view a test connection (and we strongly recommend you do this) but you'll only be able to view the Live Webcast approx. 5 mins before the service start time.

Please be aware this is a public building and the timing of the Live webcast is semi-automated to allow for services running early or late – please use your discretion if you can see activities not applicable to the service you are here to watch.

Nan, we are all so privileged to have had you in our lives. Your lovely smile and cheery laugh would brighten any day and your stories of THE WAF, Grandpa and, for H, your time at Coward Chance would fill many happy hours together.

Our time together is filled with immeasurable happiness, with all of our various adventures. From our trips into town, meals with one too many sherberts (vodka tonics to start and espresso martinis to finish, of course). But also our quieter evenings sitting and laughing at the classics; Last of the Summer Wine, One Foot in The Grave and discussing the scores of Strictly. We have had so many fantastic memories which will always be cherished.

You're back with Grandpa now, who I know will have been waiting eagerly to take your hand again for another turn on the boards. And your dancing tales together, inspired us and we're so glad you were able to cheer us on in the ballroom.

Thank you for filling our lives with such happiness and a zest for life that was unrivalled. Age really was just a number for you and your sense of fun in life never wavered. You will be missed, but more importantly, fondly remembered for all of the happiness you brought wherever you went.

With all of our love,

H and Jade xxx

Rest in peace Nanny, you were one of the most caring, loving and funniest person we have ever met. You had the biggest heart of gold and will be missed by many. The memories we hold will forever be with us.

We all remember the night we had to put the bins out and us all in absolute hysterics. And there will always be another bus so never run to catch the bus. Thank you for all the dance lessons you have given us with Elvis Presley playing in the background.

I am sure you're still dancing and got your hair and nails done. Rest in Peace Nanny London you will never be forgotten lots of love Hannah and Olivia xxxx
