I was lucky to witness what an amazing husband, father and grandfather you where and i know how deeply the loss will be for your family but in true palmer style they will love and look after each other just as you loved and looked after them. Live you all and my deepest condolences to you all xxx

For our dearest Steve, how we will miss you. We always looked forward to seeing you both. You were funny & a joy to be with. Always remember you unblocking our gutter, which was like Niagra Falls, in torrential rain. Our wet superman! God bless you Steve. Should not have been your turn to go.
