In loving memory of Leonard ‘Len’ Wood who sadly passed away on 24th March 2021.

Len was born in Doncaster to John and Alice and attended Aylesham School, Kent.

Former Wages Clerk at Snowdown Colliery – Retired 1986.

Honorary Life member of Aylesham & Snowdown Bowls Club.

Len died peacefully at home in Dover aged 94 years.

Beloved husband of Phyllis, much loved and admired father of Duncan, Alison and Carol. Adored and treasured grandfather to Emma, Nicole, Daniel, Nathalie, James, Alex, Samuel, Beth, Alice and Samantha and great grandfather to Paige, Savannah, Louis and Freddie. Adored brother and uncle.

Len will be fondly remembered as a kind, loving family man with a passion for sport and will be sadly missed by all.

Funeral service will be held on 19th April at Barham Crematorium and attendance is by invitation only due to the Covid restrictions in force. The funeral will be live streamed, please see details below.

Thoughts are with Phyllis and all of her family. Uncle Len was always kind and friendly. He always spoke of my mum with much love and affection and we will always remember the great banter he had with our dad.
