On 8th March 2021, suddenly at his home in Cheshire, aged 65 years, Geoff, beloved dad of Melissa, Andrew and Mark, a dear father in law and grandad, loving son of Mr Brian and Mrs Eva Johnson,
a very dear brother and brother in law.
Following the current guidelines a private family service will be held at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Tuesday 30th March 2021. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Geoff may be made online or sent to George Brooke Ltd., for the benefit of the RNLI.

Geoff you'll be greatly missed. I've known Geoff for about 35 years, and have worked with him on and off for 20. He was happy, friendly and a shining personality. I have very fond memories from the Rent Tribunal in the 80's, of trekking out to obscure real ale pubs in Ancoats and other derelict areas at lunch time, for a pint. RIP Geoff.

We were very sorry to hear the sad news of Geoff’s passing. He was a friend and colleague at the DTI in Leeds. I read The Island by Victoria Hislop, thank you for pointing me towards this beautiful book. I shall miss receiving your Christmas card and sending you one and hearing your news. RIP Geoff.

My oldest friend, we first bet in September 1960 in Mrs. Glover's reception class at Staincliffe School. Football colleagues, cricket colleagues, pub colleagues, each other's best man. Not often I can't find words but couldn't when I heard. Love to Mum and Dad, Andrew, Melissa and David, Dave and Marie.
