Nellie formerly of Earby, passed away peacefully at home in Harrogate on 22 February aged 89 years. Beloved wife of 65 years to Ted, devoted mother of Bryan, Helen, Claire and Karen, mother-in-law to Keith, Jeremy and Cheryl and adored nana of Robert, Thomas, Emma and Alexandra. Nellie will be sadly missed by all her family.

I first met Nellie at Weightwatchers where we worked on the shop and subscriptions desks. We became friends and |I met her family over the years. She was a very dear friend and I will miss our chats. She and Ted were very kind to me especially when I lost my parents and she offered to be my surrogate mum. She always listened to me and offered good advice and help. I will miss her very much.

To the many memories of a lovely lady who was an excellent friend to the Fisher family, and an especially close friend and confidante to Gwen, both of them sharing many happy times and holidays with Ted and Walter over the many years they all had together.
