Betty Geraldine Leon (8 Sep 1923 - 16 Feb 2021)

In loving memory of Betty Geraldine Leon who sadly passed away on 16th February 2021 .Betty was the 8th child of 9, she was educated at Blyth Grammar School. After leaving school worked at Boots the chemist. Betty was a talented artist and very creative with sewing and home design.
She married Harry Leon and lived in London then Eastbourne,. After her marriage failed she returned to Norfolk and worked at UEA as a wages clerk.
She retired at 60 so had a long retirement spent creatively with botanic art, upholstery,woodwork and gardening.
In her final years Betty was less mobile but managed to live independently until the last few months of her life.
Will be remembered with fond memories.
