How blessed we were as a family when Carol and Chris married because we not only gained a brother in law we gained an extension to the family in the way of Mary and Bert. From the moment we all met there was a bond. Such lovely people whom we will fondly remember. The memories will cover every emotion you experience in life but thankfully more of fun and laughter. Our hearts go out to all of the family and I hope they gain some comfort from knowing how much their wonderful parents were loved by so many including us - very much
With our deepest sympathy and love

We were very sorry to hear of the loss of Bert and Mary in January, who we always loved to meet back here in Sligo, Bert's origin area. Sincere sympathies to Chris, Pauline and Maureen. Hope you and your children are all keeping well. Very sad time in losing both of your lovely parents and our friends in such a Covid era. From Michael and Marie Finan and family

My deepest condolences to Pauline, Chris & Maureen and all the grandchildren. Bert & Mary, you were a wonderful, loving and caring couple who were great friends with our family, especially to our mum and dad for many years. There was never a dull moment at work when i worked with you Bert at GEC all those years ago, your Irish charm and witt brightened everyones day. In more recent years, i remember the quiz days mum had with you Mary, a good old natter with a cup of tea and a take a break magazine!, good times and treasured memories of love, laughter and friendship. You will be missed by everyone who knew and loved you, now you're back together may you rest in eternal peace in the paradise that is heaven, lots of love, Sonya & Family xxx
