I would like to add my thanks to Doreen for all she has done for me since I was born, we have lived together as brother and sister for all of my 73 years, a rare partnership that has never faltered through good and bad times.

After our parents died in the late Nineties, Doreen took care of me throughout my employed life, when I retired the roles were reversed as I gradually took over looking after her, especially after the fall in 2019 which was the start of her health problems. We shared our life and fortune equally, and as Life time Southampton FC (Saints) supporters, we had some wonderful times together.

She was also the backbone in the thirty year involvement in the Solent Aviation Society which ran from 1981 to 2011, together we produced a monthly magazine which peaked at around 600 members, and it was all done at home with the help of a few volunteer helpers. Also heavily involved in our organised Aviation Society Fly-Ins at Popham Airfield and other venues, running a Sales stall that attracted many people who supported the Society.

For all of her life she made friends in every aspect of her life, she was respected and loved by everyone that ever met her. For myself and all of her aquaintances there will be a big gap in our lives now that she has left us. She will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace.
