Suddenly in hospital on February 13th, John ‘Jack’. The much-loved husband of Pauline. The devoted dad of Jon, Jasmine, Charlotte and the late Stephen. The precious grandad of Hannah and Matilda. A cherished father-in-law of Jill and Dan. A dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to so many. Jack will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. A service will be held on Monday 1st March in St Michael & All Angels Parish Church, Houghton at 10:15am, interment to follow in Houghton Cemetery. Due to the limited capacity at the church, in line with current Government guidance, attendance by invitation. Family flowers only. Donations kindly received for Bowel Cancer UK. A donation plate will be available in the church. All enquiries to Andrew Grey Funeral Directors, 9 North View Terrace, Chilton Moor. Tel: 0191 3857213. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. A part of us went with you, the day God took you home.

Very sorry to here about jack we new jack and pauline for a long time i used to travel the country with jack working and have had many a holiday and happy times love to pauline and john and family

So sorry to hear the sad news about Jack.
He was my workmate and we were the best of friends for over 50yrs, which was full of good times, laughter and great memories that will be with me always.
