Alana and Barry Silverman donated £35.91 in memory of Lesley

One of the many cards I received from Lesley speaks about friends. This quote is by Stacie Martin:
"I have learned that the friends who hold your hand through the tough times and watch your soul twirl during the best, are the ones you should spend your lifetime dancing with."
Lesley was one of those friends. She was my soul sister who I met serendipitously. Our kinship grew over the last 7 years. She cared for others more than for herself, while dancing through the tough times and the best times.
Barry and I will miss her deeply, but her beautiful smile will remain in our hearts forever. We know, as she continues on her journey, her sweet soul will embrace others with love and compassion.
May her memory be a blessing to Paul and all of Lesley's family and friends.
Love,
Alana and Barry

Lesley was so sociable and bubbly. with a great Zest for life, cruelly taken away so young. She loved her adventures to the USA with many fascinating tales to tell. Thinking of Paul, Eve and Lesley's family at this sad time. Lesley will always remain in our thoughts. Kay & Andrew xxx

When asked to do a training session for psychology teachers, only one person would do it on 'Bellydancing for beginners'. It went down a storm. It seems unbelievable that we have lost someone who was so full of energy and ideas. Will miss you so much. Phil

Donation in memory of Lesley
Lesley was a funny, beautiful, kind, thoughtful, caring and non judgemental lady always busy doing something for someone.
I had the privilege of being her friend and we made so many lovely memories together some of them crazy like pushing her over the back fence when she couldn't get in the front door and she landed with a crash on the dustbins we still laughed about that when I spoke to her in hosptial.
This world has lost such a beautiful person but Lesley we who loved and knew you have been truly blessed to have you in our lives.

Lesley I will miss you so much no more fizz Fridays.
Sleep peacefully lovely lady
Love Yah XXX

Rest in peace Boss thankyou for the wonderful memories and making work enjoyable for so many years. From punching the air singing the theme tune from Rocky as you went into your lessons to teaching conformity to Social Norms in dressing gown and slippers. Telling me your shoe size was 'depends what they cost and how much I like them' and going for a 'ta tars in Nana's pap pap to see the bo bos and get some do do's.' totally devastated for your amazing family Lesley you will be so missed, love Shez x

You were my dearest and closest friend for so many years. Through thick and thin we were there for each other. You lit up a room with your vibrant personality and that wonderful laugh. We put the world to rights-so much to do on that score- and then danced and drank the night away. A truly unique person, so loved by so many.
It's dark and lonely for us now with overwhelming sadness but hopefully in time we will smile and laugh when we think of you.
With deepest love,
Di xxxx

My ace big sis, though my heart is broken and my face is sore with the tears I can still smile thinking of conversations putting the world to rights at silly o clock at Bells Lane cos neither of us could sleep due to a certain crying baby! Our mandatory jive on Christmas mornings, and eggy bread. The list really has no end! I love you my Ellie and always will.
Massive massive thanks and all of my love to my Angela, Sam and Paul for literally everything they have done.
Got to go now babe cos the tears are coming again, just go and have a brew with nannar and grandad .
with all of my heart,

Lesley my beautiful sister, I just can’t believe you’re gone my darling. Keep thinking of the little things like when we were kids, tying string around our big toes so one couldn’t get up without the other on Christmas morning and if anyone gave you a sweet you said and one for Kimmy please. Later you became a rock for both me and our little brother Mark, always there to listen or provide a bed which was often. I just hope you knew how much you were loved Lesley and always will be.
Your Broken-hearted Sister Kymm xxxxxxxx
Love and sympathy to Paul , Lesley’s wonderful husband and the whole family.I’m thinking of you all

My dearest Les. One of a kind Nottingham las, and my nottingham mum. Kind, funny, talented, understanding, generous and full of flare. You would bring a instant lift and cheer to any room. The best mum to Sam and Angela, both a true asset to you. The Nana of dreams, and a fantastic pairing in you and Paul, the best of each other. A true star baker, loving the day when a Lesley cake appeared. Always seeing the end of one thing as the start of a new, never to old to learn new tricks, or fully exploit your old ones. Red is not just colour to us, it is a bit of you and a forever reminder of you. You live on in everyone you knew. We love you and miss you beyound words.
