In loving memory of Beryl Walker who sadly lost her battle against heart failure on 29th January 2021. An amazing mum, nan and great-nan who will leave a hole in our lives.

Beryl was born in Arnold, Nottingham where she met and married Malcolm. In 1964 they began a journey together which would be filled with love, hard work and plenty of laughter. Working 7 days a week in one of their shops or delivering milk, Beryl still found the time to always be there for her son and daughter.

Moving to South Normanton after Malcolm died, Beryl embraced the village life and was quickly established as a part of the community. Having a ready smile, a helping hand and sharing a dose of her wicked sense of humour, she showed how much she cared for others.

Beryl's son, daughter, grandsons and great-grandson were her pride and joy with close bonds which will forever remain unbreakable.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions (which apply at the time of writing), a maximum of only 15 people can attend the service in the small chapel at the crematorium and this is strictly by invitation only.

Richard and Samantha ask that you don't attend unless you have a formal invitation directly from one of them. You will not be able to wait outside the crematorium as gathering in public places is currently illegal and unlike normal funerals, people must not wait outside the crematorium. Thank you for your understanding.

Lovely Beryl taught me so much when I was a teenager working as a waitress with her catering business. She was a committee member of the Edwinstowe Commodores Jazz band and kept all us kids in check with her smile and sense of humour.
So sorry to hear of Beryls passing, love to Richard, Sam and all the family x

Many a good memory of Beryl or Mother as I have called her for about 40 years. Yes with her permission and as I could call her mother she would give me a clip round the ear on the odd occasion I might have been cheeky. It really has been a privilege to know you mother and Malcolm and know you are reunited in each others arms again xxx
