Ronald Brian Bass (3 Oct 1936 - 17 Jan 2021)

In loving memory of Ronald Brian Bass who sadly passed away on 17th January 2021 age 84.

Dad was born and lived in Crayford/Bexleyheath area all of his life. He spent 2 years doing National Service in the Army Engineers in both England and Osnabruck Germany, then worked for Vickers engineering until 1972, a few more engineering companies and worked way past retirement age finally finishing work at age 74.

Dad was married to Mum for 60 years had 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and loved seeing them all, the great grandchildren loved feeding the fish in the pond.

He also loved carpentry and all type of woodworking. He bred birds, gardening and enjoyed a round of golf until his health and eyesight declined.

He was such a quiet man who was loved and respected by all and, never liked a fuss and will be sadly missed.

Dads funeral will take place on Thursday 4th March, sadly due to restrictions there isn’t room for everyone to attend, just immediate family.
