I always loved Audrey's soft voice and how beautifully she dressed and how she always called Denis "darling". It was such a shame she lost him because she was lost without him, l felt. They were such a devoted couple, now reunited. God bless and RIP. I will send a donation.

I have lots of lovely memories of Auntie Audrey, she has always been in my life being a close cousin and friend to my Mum Beryl .
I will remember her as a very busy person helping others through her church and within Merstham.
Auntie was very softly spoken and well dressed always with a splash of colour in her clothing.
It was a very cruel illness that took the auntie I knew from us a long time ago.
She is at rest now with Uncle.
I will miss her very much.

Nanny where do I begin.
I have so many fond childhood memories of you. From our sleepovers at the bungalow (to which I can still remember the smell of), the array of beret hats that you loved to wear, your love of liquorice all sorts, your epic homemade roast potatoes, your not so epic fish pie, your love for 'Dennie' and the mischief that he caused with mum, never letting me venture outside with wet hair for fear of catching a cold, the lemon drizzle cakes, the way that you were beautifully and so softly spoken, your love for All Saints Church in Merstham and the Sunday services that we would attend and I could go on.
I am so sad that I didn't get to say goodbye but take rest and comfort that you are finally home with Granded and our Saviour.
I love you Nanny and thank you so much for the wonderful memories that we have left to cherish.

Dear Audrey,
I am grateful for the generous support and friendship that Denis and Audrey gave me when I came to All Saints in 1997 as Minister.

Audrey will be recalled by many in Merstham in the community of which she was such a part.
Her’s was a life-long service and devotion to her Lord and the Church she loved in so many ways.
She will be fondly remembered across the generations for her interest in each person whose life she touched.

It was a great sadness that in later years she was unable to attend church and we rather lost contact.

I hope that we will be able to celebrate that life in Church and Canada Hall and together give thanks for all our memories.

We entrust Audrey to her Lord’s keeping.

Dear Audrey, such a lovely lady.
Cam and I were so grateful for the friendship Audrey and Denis gave to us and our three children. We have such wonderful memories of Spring Harvest and so many celebratory occasions together and at All Saints.
Cam remembers fondly being Churchwarden with Audrey and how he delighted in her meticulous filing system! A little different from Brian Hammond’s, a former incumbent, who Audrey dedicatedly assisted when his wife, who had also been his secretary, died. Audrey once said to me, with rye amusement, that Brian was a, ‘pile man’. She told me that when he was looking for any document he would say to her, ‘I’ll take this pile Audrey, you take that pile’!
It was our especial delight, and Audrey loved this, that we shared the same wedding Anniversary......
albeit many years apart!
Delightful memories of a delightful lady.
You always worked so hard, dear Audrey, rest in peace.

I'll always have very fond memories of nanny. She would never leave the house without her matching coat and beret hat and wouldn't be seen without her hair neatly Permed and her handback strapped to her side! The last 10 years were a struggle for her and I'm glad she is finally at peace with grandad Denis. You will be missee. All our love, Ben, Meg, Marley, Felix & Matilda xx

I’ll always remember with great fondness all the family days out with Nan and Grandad, her lemon drizzle cakes, little beret hats and driving around in her mini, which she absolutely loved. Nan was always keeping so busy and had such a central role in the community. She loved her family and we all loved her. We’ll always remember the family times. Love from Sarah, Phil and Millie xx

I’ll remember Nan as a kind and caring person who loved her family dearly. When we were children, I always enjoyed watching Nan’s reaction as Dad or Auntie Sally would purposely mess about and do or say something funny, much to the kids’ amusement! There was always a ‘Oh Neil or Oh Sally’…followed by a big smile. I think she enjoyed the silliness as much as we did! One of many happy memories. All our love Ian, Monica, Enzo and Rocco. x

Dear Audrey I remember you as an interesting and ladylike person who clearly had a determined nature. This had served you well during your long and purposeful life. It was tragic that your illness in later life robbed you of spending time with your son and daughter, Neil and Sally, who remained caring and loyal to the end, and of the joy of your grandchildren and great grandchildren. I believe though that, deep down, you knew you were loved and receiving the very best of care. Reunited now with Dennis xx

Your very cruel illness of latter years stole your natural character. However, we remember and mourn the loss of a quietly spoken, very intelligent, caring and graceful lady who will be sadly missed. RIP Dear Audrey. With Love from John, Diane and Phyllis x
