  • Hi Ali, so glad the message reached you and you have so many great memories to cherish- I still have the book and inspiring inscription she gave me for a birthday and remember sitting by the river and chatting with her over tea many times. I’m back in the uk for a week as an aunt unfortunately passed on due to Covid but my email is alanwharton1401@icloud.com if you want to catch up. All the very best

I have so many happy memories of you, Carol. John first introduced you to us at Christmas 60 or so years ago. I was at your wedding too and we had lovely get togethers at Redcar.

Remembering a really lovely lady, my sister in law, Carol.
