In loving memory of Darren Rainey who sadly passed away on
11th January 2021.

Darren will be remembered for being a fantastic playful & loving dad
who adored Harley, Nevaeh, Leyla & Mason who were all close to him. His children were so important to him & he loved taking the young ones out bringing them back caked in mud!

Darren also had a beautiful girlfriend Mellissa in his life who had the same generous, gentle & loving personality. Melissa always had Darren’s best interest at heart & they had so much fun together with Melissa booking great weekends away for them & days out with Harley & Nevaeh. They both shared with me how much they cared & loved each other that they were soul mates.

Darren lived with support from wonderful people who knew him well. He was shown respect, love & care & he always said he wanted to live in his home with their support forever! They are amazing, generous spirited, naturally caring people - thank you to everyone of you.

We must remember Darren for all the great times we had with him. Darren is one of those rare special people you meet in life who loves people & always puts others ahead of himself. He’d light a room up too with his presence, commanding an audience for his jokes, poems & artwork - amazingly talented!

Darren had two brothers Stuart & Shaun (nephew/nieces Josh, Kirsten & Jess) as well as a sister Amanda & her daughter his niece Taylor. He loved them all even though they weren’t all in regular contact with him. He has 5 uncles an aunt & 8 second cousins, all scattered over England, Ireland & with one in Oz.

Darren originally came from Folkestone, Kent & he lost his father when he was a toddler & his mother 9 years ago. Darren would phone his mother regularly & visit he felt a great loss at her passing. It is hoped that Darren will have the love of both parents Chris & Brian with him in heaven.

On a sadder note Re the funeral :
Due to the current restrictions on numbers regrettably, Darren's funeral will be by invite only & it’s important for all attending to follow Covid rules and stay in their bubbles keeping their distance in the chapel.

We are so sorry we cannot invite everyone whose expressed a wish to attend & hope that you can watch via the webcast. Sadly numbers are limited to 30.

Still missing you dearly! Yesterday I had a psychic experience whereby this great sadness came over me & with tears & I was remembering you, your mum Chris & I just wanted you back in my life to be near you, to share things with you. It was like you were there but I couldn’t have you.
Hey one day in the future - give me time though!
Love you all… Darren, Chris, mum & dad xxxx

Darren you were in my thoughts & we had a chat all day yesterday whilst hiking. I felt some of your pain, I’m sure it was so much more than any of us could ever imagine, but I’ll now focus on what a fab nephew/man I had in my life. I thoroughly enjoyed the trips out we had, your humour & love and care for others especially your children. Know you were deeply loved & missed by so many - until we meet again. Love Aunty Jan xxxx
PS Teddy’s fine & misses you too!

Thinking of you all today, family, friends (Ash) especially and of course you Darren. We know you’re always with us, as death is just another phase in life that just represents the body. The soul is infinite. Fly with the angels xxxxxxxx

RIP Dazza. You were a top dude. Was only talking about you in December with a mate in Victoria. You had a good heart. I know you struggled and at times life wasn’t easy but you’re with the angels now. Ash told me of your passing. Bella and Bruno passed on too. I remember you accidentally broke the scratching post in Chiswick and were so apologetic and offering to replace it. Bless you. You take care and don’t be a stranger ❤️❤️❤️
