Our lovely Dad, Roger very sadly passed away peacefully on Sunday 27 December 2020 aged 88 years.
We will always remember him as kind & proud, with a love for the outdoors, for the river & for the peace of a beautiful view.
He has always stayed close to where he grew up in Strood, working at Blue Circle & living in the same family home in Istead Rise for almost 60 years, he will be greatly missed by family, friends & neighbours.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday 27 January 2021, 3pm at St Barnabas Church, Istead Rise, followed by a cremation at Thamesview Crematorium.

Roger was a true gentleman, a good neighbour and friend.
He loved growing vegetables and spent many hours tending his plants. We will miss our conversations at the end of the garden and the expert advice warmly given.

I took care of you for five weeks and enjoyed them so much that they passed so quickly. I'll miss preparing your favorite food, the time we spent together while you showed me your photo albums and explained who was in the photos and what you did in each one, your boy scout time, the time you spent in the army ...
