I am so happy to have grown up with such a friendly gentleman named Bear. From the sparse times we'd meet you were always so welcoming and down to earth there was never a dull moment.
It's hard for me to believe that you are gone but the memories I have of you will live on.
The next time I'm in the Algarve and walk past a tacky tourist shop, I'll be sure to buy a silly straw hat in your honour.
Love, Harry.

Uncle Bear,

There are no words to describe the pain or sadness. Life has never felt so unfair. We were so, so lucky to call you our Uncle - the kindest, warmest, loviest man who had the patience of a saint (you’d have to, to put up with Daddy the way you did!). We really were one of a kind.

You have left a terrible, gaping hole in our hearts. We will love and miss you forever.

Chloe and Ellie xxx

I’ve known Bear many years and I have great memories of our families having holidays together. Over the years we have had many beers, glasses of wine and the odd gin and tonic. He was such great company. It just won’t be the same without my old mate . I will miss him so much, my friend Bear
