Cuthbert (Bert) Davison a retired shipyard worker and Caretaker, died 6th January 2021 peacefully with his family around him.
Bert was born on 24th May 1934 and married Doreen Davison in 1957 whom also passed away in 2017 and is deeply missed. Bert was a deeply loved Husband, Father, Brother , Uncle Grandad and Great Grandad. He leaves children, Lorraine, Susan married to Chris and John married to Penny, grandchildren Craig, Blain, Andrew married to Tracy, Jennifer, Matthew and Emma, and great grandchildren Bethany and Sophie.
Bert worked hard for his family , he was proud to work in Sunderland at Pyrex and numerous shipyards on the Wear, spending his latter years as a caretaker at Hylton Redhouse college.
We pay tribute to him " Bert was such a kind person who was so proud of his family and loved being with us at every opportunity, as we did with him".
Bert's funeral will take place on January 22nd at 1:30pm Sunderland Crematorium.
