In loving memory of Lorri Liddle who sadly passed away peacefully at home on 29th December 2020. My mum had a vibrant life, having grown up climbing the monkey-puzzle trees in Zambia and moving between Africa and Keswick in the Lake District. Mum moved to her adopted home of Scotland in 1983, where she spent 34 years of her life, and enjoyed her work as a Librarian where she was able to work with one of her loves - books - with her firm favourite character being Winnie the Pooh. Whilst spending some years back in England, she was proud to have worked with many fantastic comedians and events speakers, and rediscovered her love for punk rock. My mum could often be found singing away to her favourite tracks, which I'm sure her many neighbours over the 29 house moves she made will have enjoyed! My Mum Lorri will now be reunited with her beloved Dad, who she lost aged 13, her Mum/my Gran, and her sister Vicky who was tragically lost at a young age, along with the many pets and animals she fell in love with, from Jenny the horse through to Roger and Colin the greyhounds.

Lorri was a lovely warm hearted woman with such a gentle touch I only I knew her for a short time but I’m glad I met her and she will be sincerely missed heart goes out to lorries family and loved ones

So sorry for your loss. I will always remember Lorri with fondness. Will always remember how thrilled she was when I took her to see Hazel O'connor in Holmfirth. One of many music events we attended together. I also met Colin and Roger, the most chilled out dogs ever! RIP rest well, love from Algie (her pet name for me) xx
Thanks for this. My very first meeting with my terrible twin and saviour. Wish we'd seen each other recently but loved catching up and shared so much over 17 years. Will always hold you close in my heart x
