In loving memory of James William Simpson "Jim" who sadly passed away on 26th December 2020.

James William Simpson was always known as Jim.
His parents were Isabella and William Simpson and Jim was born in Sandiacre Derbyshire on the 12 March 1936 the youngest of twin boys. He had 7 brother and sisters leaves 2 brothers and sister.

Jim married Beryl Joan Brownlow on the 28/03/64
And they lived in New Houghton in the same house all his married life bringing up 2 children there, Carol and Cheryl.

Jim worked in engineering including lace web, boneham and turners in Mansfield and at the NCB markham workshops near Bolsover until retiring early.

He was also a much loved grandad to Holly, Chloe, Jack and Grace.

Jim was a kind, lovely man who would do anything for anyone. He loved walking , gardening, reading, watching films and most of all spending time with his family .

In a few lines it is hard to sumarise a whole life and what you meant to us other than to say we love you and we are heartbroken you are gone - rest in peace and thank you for being a wonderful husband, father and granddad we were so lucky to have had you in our life.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers for Cancer Research UK, Breast Cancer.
