In loving memory of William Bullman who sadly passed away on 27th December 2020.

Dear All,
As many of you may know, we lost our beloved Bill this week. Due to Covid restrictions, we will sadly be unable to say Goodbye as we would want to; with everyone able to pay their last respects.
Hopefully, we will able to meet in person later in the year.
In the meantime, if you have any photos or memories that you would like to post in memoriam; please feel free to add to this website.
All our love, Carolyn, Andrea, Dan & Charlotte.
Xxx

RIP Uncle Bill. My fondest memories were probably at Rose and Bill's (senior) caravan, at Potters and all the other family holidays we had when I was young. Uncle Bill always seemed to have a smile on his face and a laugh in his voice, and not just when we were in the pub! Sending all my love to Carolyn, Dan, Andrea and Charlotte, and to everyone who was part of his life xxxx

A gentleman was once defined as someone who puts more into the world than takes out...and by this measure Bill was a gentleman of gentlemen!
Funny without meaning to be funny, Bill livened up the dinner table like no one else! Reinventing charades, Christmas won’t be the same without him!
Loved so much, Bill will be sadly missed by us all but never forgotten!
Love
Ant x

Regardless of the limited time we had in Bill’s company, it wasn’t difficult to immediately recognise a very special man. He was captivating. enlightening and funny when he shared his reflections of days gone by prior to his retirement. We only wish of course that there were many more opportunities to have an audience with Bill and hear his wonderful tales that still make us smile.
Please know that our most sincere condolences are with all the family and our hearts truly hurt for your loss.
Rest in eternal peace dear Bill.

Bill and I first met in 1956, when both boys working for Humphrey & Grey tugs. We didn’t become friends until a year later, when I was cycling back from Cherry Garden pier and I saw Bill cycling towards me. I shouted out to him “Where are you going” to which he replied “Battlebridge roads” I shouted back “Then you’re going the wrong way”. He never did have a sense of direction, Black Cab driver???. We both cycled back together and became great mates from then on, surprisingly as Bill was such a gentle soul, wouldn’t hurt a fly, and I was a bit “hotheaded”. But we both grew older and had families, and although didn’t see each other often, we still kept in touch. I will miss him greatly and never forget him. Rest in Peace Billy. Xx
