On 21st December at Airedale Hospital, Dave aged 69 years of Eastburn. Beloved husband of Eleanor, dear son in law of Isobel, brother in law of Carolyn, Edward and Tony, much loved and proud uncle to Mark, Leanne, Alex and James, a great uncle, god father and friend to many. Due to the present circumstances a private funeral will take place at this time. The funeral cortege will leave Sun Street, Eastburn on Monday 11th January at 12.45 pm, should they wish, friends may gather here to pay their respects.

Say not in grief that David is gone but give thanks that he was ours. To live in the hearts he leaves behind is not to die, for love is immortality. Like the sun, only when you set in the west can you rise in the east.
