What a wonderful send off we had for our nan. She would have told us to not make a fuss, but she deserved it! Echoing everything that Kate said, we have so many memories and were so lucky to have her. All my love Nan xxx

So many fond memories to a wonderful Aunt. I don't think there was a kinder person on
this earth. Aunt Nellie always did things well and to make it to 100 years of age was great. She will be missed greatly.
Love Carol

My wonderful Aunt Nellie, there are no words as you were the kindest, loving, caring person.
I considered you a second mother. You and I shared many dish washing special conversations.
I loved our cups of tea...your fabulous Sunday roasts...and those desserts. I hope you have a big
gold chair in heaven with your two Dermots. You deserve it!

Rest .in peace!

Thank you for being such a loving, kind and remarkable Mother. Raising four young children after Dad died could not have been easy but you made sure we had a childhood full of love and laughter.

You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace.

Some of my favourite memories of Nan Gray:
- Shopping at Surrey Quays and then feeding the ducks and swans whilst eating bananas by the water
- When she used to nod towards the "sweet drawer" at the flat after we had our lunch with a little smile on her face to let us know we could pick one each
- Making her laugh using the Snapchat filters to add silly hats or glasses to our faces, I think she marveled at the technology
- Always taking everything in her stride with such a positive attitude
- Her perfectly permed hair, and immaculate dress sense; regardless of hospital stays or age
- When she used to explain why she had got up and gone for a wander in the flat despite the multiple signs telling her to stay put, "there was a tiny speck of dust on the floor that I just had to pick up"
- Teaching me how to make her cabbage recipe which I wrote down step by step (hint: lots of salt and butter)
- Her beef stew, mash potatoes, Sheperd's Pie: all fantastic. With jelly on a plate after for dessert of course

I could go on and on!

I will miss you Nan, rest peacefully xxx
