Pam was born in 1942, to Elsie and Leonard Hoff, and was raised in Tickhill, along with seven siblings. She attended Maltby Grammar School, before working as a secretary and then as a bookkeeper. She met her husband, Vin, while working at Marshall's garage. She settled in Bawtry, with Vin and their two children, Andrew and Lynn. She has one granddaughter, Claire.

Pam became a valued part of Bawtry Methodist Church and latterly became a preacher, preaching at various chapels in the Doncaster area.

Yesterday, I said goodbye to a friend, while standing outside Bawtry Methodist Church, where we first met seven years ago. Pam helped as back marker with our Bawtry Health Walk and let us use the church facilities afterwards for a chat and a "cuppa". It was at one of these chats, when we spoke about possible loneliness of some Bawtry residents so with Pam's help, I began the Connect Club. Pam was very committed, always ready to help and to encourage.
We'll certainly miss you, Pam!

Lovely memories of Pam, through fellowship at Church and more recently a fellow member of our walking group. Her positive outlook and cheery smile was always evident. Her deep faith always shone through in all that she did for her beloved Church and local community.
Rest in peace Pam, in the arms of your loving Father x

Pam was just a lovely lady. I enjoyed our chats on various subjects as we walked with the other group members on a Tuesday afternoon. She never ever complained about her state of health, in fact she was the one always to have her lippy on, making the rest of us look drab. Always with a ready smile and asking when the next chocolate cake would appear for our after walk cuppa and chat. Rest in Peace Pam x

Fond memories of Pam, a valued member of our walking group who was generous enough to allow us the use of the Methodist school room and kitchen for our after walk 'cuppa and natter'. She had a ready smile for everyone and was at her best when organising things eg the fashion shows and garden parties. She was simply a very lovely lady who will be much missed.

Pam was such a very special lady, good friend and great preacher. Always spoke from her heart, funny joke and story, both with a Christian message. I only went when Pam preached and she always left me a phone reminder when her date was due. We had lovely chats on the Bawtry walk, during and after coffee, outside the Chapel. Really enjoyed coffee and scone in her home with Pam telling me her story with Jesus. The fashion show too. Pam will be missed so much, by all who knew her. Very funny, caring and loved. I will miss her very much. So sad.
