In loving memory of Enid Mason who sadly passed away on 12th November 2020

Enid was born on 23rd July 1936 in Mt Charles, St Andrew's Parish, Jamaica.

She was one of seven children of Harold and Florence Saddler.

She came to England in 1958 and lived with Family initially in Brixton. She started working with London Transport where she met her husband Percival Mason and were married in 1965.

They both then moved to Ealing in 1969, where she then worked for Lyon's Tetley.

In 1999, both herself and Percival moved to Bexhill-On-Sea. She enjoyed living on the coast and would make the most of the experience. Sadly when her husband Percival passed away in 2010, she moved to Leatherhead to be closer to family.

Enid enjoyed travelling, going on many trips, in particular 2 trips to Israel staying in a Kibbutz in Jerusalem and various hotels around Israel. she enjoyed these trips very much, especially visiting sites like the Dead Sea, Masada, Wailing Wall, Old City and Muslim Quarter in Jerusalem and in particular the Basilica of the Annunciation Church and the Sea of Galilea.

She also very much enjoyed going back to Jamaica to see family and friends, staying in St Andrews, Kingston, Jamaica.

Living in a household that was cricket mad, she would regularly go to watch and support cricket.

She also enjoyed socialising with friends and family, enjoyed music, crossword puzzles, reading and gardening.

She is survived by:
Older brother:- Fitzroy Saddler

Son:- Gary Mason
Stepson: Percy Mason (junior)

Enid looked after me for six months when my mum and dad moved to Hampshire so that I could finish off the school term before rejoining my parents and sister. We had some fun times and she always had time for everybody. RIP Enid xx
