What has to be said for 'Fred Private'. Has already been said in the wonderful tributes posted and sent to his family. The saying goes, you come into the world with nothing, and you take nothing away. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Not in 'Freds case. He took with him the love of his family and mostly the respect of hundreds of budding golfers me respect is something you have to earn, and 'Fred' earned that from everyone who had a pleasure of meeting him. Proud to have known him.pround to call him a friend, a very sad loss for everyone a R.I.P 'Fred'. Walk the fairways of heaven with pride. You will never be forgotten.!! Xxxx

Thank you for making sure that I have known I was loved every day of my life. I love you, Dad, and I'll miss you more than I can say.

Your decency, sincerity, and kind soul will stay with us forever. So, through our tears, let us see the blessings of knowing and loving you – a great and noble man,

A soul that brought joy and fulfilment to many, and whose legacy will live on forever.

Dad may be in heaven now, but I know he is looking down at us with a big smile on his face saying, “Forge ahead—make the best of life—and I’ll see you again.
