In loving memory of David John Holland who passed away suddenly but peacefully with his loving daughters, partner and sister by his side at Chesterfield Royal Hospital on 26th October 2020, aged 74 years.

David was a loving family
man whose laid-back attitude to life meant he was adored
by all of us.

He was preceded in death by
his father Alfred, his mother Ethel and his sister Jenny.
He is survived by his sister Sue, his four daughters Liz, Laura, Jillie and Lexy, his partner Pauline, eleven grandchildren and his niece Sarah

Dave is in our thoughts, he was a good friend and colleague when we worked at Thornton’s and we enjoyed some good times and laughs together, myself and Deb enjoyed yours and Paulines visits to see us in Shropshire and don’t forget about the pint you owe me :) miss you Dave and always in my thoughts.

In the hope that others will benefit and that one day the ‘C’ word will not exist.
Remembering lots of good times, vowing to follow my heart and to seize the day.
So many things I wish I could have told you and shared with you.
Miss you Dad.

So sad to hear the news of my friend David. It was so nice to meet him here in Pico, me from Canada and him from England. We didn't know each other for very long but became friends right away and I will treasure the memories we formed while we were in Pico at the same time. I am blessed to have Pauline as a friend and thinking of you and the families and friends affected by his passing. God bless you all and may you feel the love of God around you at this time and for all the tomorrows to follow.
